A *$25 application fee is due with your application. No application will be processed without payment.

A *$20 application fee is available to pre-formed group applicants or returnees to the institute.

The pre-formed group application fee of *$20 is for the entire ensemble!

Audition material must be a digital audio file demonstrating your current playing ability.

A recording is MANDATORY for all individual participants. This helps to properly place you in an ensemble of similar playing level.

Digital audio files may be submitted through the application form or via email in an .mp3 format or YouTube link.

NOTE: Audition recordings are not required for pre-formed groups or auditors.

A recommendation from an approved* reference that knows your current playing level is suggested.

This reference will be contacted to help determine your group placement and/or scholarship award.

Recommendations are suggested, not mandatory.

*An approved reference constitutes any faculty member of a major music school, a member of IHS, ITEA, ITG, or ITA.
